- The meaning of life, universe and everything
The male body produces sperm, while the female body produces the egg. It then takes about 24 hours for the sperm cell to fertilize the egg. When the sperm penetrates the egg, the surface of the egg changes, so that no other sperm cell can enter. At the moment of fertilization, the baby’s genetic makeup is complete, including whether it’s a boy or girl.
Less than one gram of fertilized embryo gets food from the mother’s body, which she gathered. Everything comes from earth: the embryo becomes a baby at birth and a baby weighs around 5KG. While growing the baby consumes food which is all from earth and when people die, their bodies weigh an average of 75KG. So, we can see that the Buddhist philosophy is right, we get everything from this earth and, when we hit the expiration time, we give our body back to earth through burial or fire.
Thus the body of every man now living is in part made from the bodies of those who have been dead for ages. i.e. if you look at an apple, you will notice that some of its elements have parts of worms, part of dead body etc. In other words, if you group energies or atoms, you can form an apple or any body, so we are part of the universe. We all are related to each other, so why can’t we live together happily? If other living beings or non living things are part of me, then I would not hurt them. Therefore, we can all forget about the soul and you can forget about the religion also. There is no God, as people were taught by religion. If all things are made out of energy (i.e. atom or quark), then that is God, therefore I am god and you are also god. We love everything in this world, we are proud because we are part of the universe and this is the Buddhist philosophy about the meaning of life universe and everything.
NASA astrophysicist says below
“Recognize that the very molecules that make up your body, the atoms that construct the molecules, are traceable to the crucibles that were once the centers of high mass stars that exploded their chemically rich guts into the galaxy, enriching pristine gas clouds with the chemistry of life. So that we are all connected to each other biologically, to the earth chemically and to the rest of the universe atomically. That’s kinda cool! That makes me smile and I actually feel quite large at the end of that. It’s not that we are better than the universe, we are part of the universe. We are in the universe and the universe is in us.”
