If the soul exists in the body, which part is it? Surgeons can do surgery to replace most of the body parts i.e. liver, kidney, eyes etc.! So, if MR X had someone else’s liver, some other person’s blood or brain (assuming it would be possible in the future) and so on, then the soul of MR X would change according to this? So, we can clearly see there is no soul !
People who are wondering about the existence of the soul should ask themselves this: if that which is called a “soul” is a separate entity from the body, when, then, and where or how was this soul placed in the human structure? The individual began with the union of two cells, neither of which had a soul. How could these two soulless cells produce a soul? I must leave this search to the meta-physicians. When they find the answer, I hope they will tell me, for I would really like to know.
The whole concept of soul is closely connected to religion and whether there is life after death or not. People say heaven is a good place, but then why are they waiting here? Why don’t they take their lives and go to heaven? There is no point in staying here. The answer is simple: because there is no evidence for life after death, nor there is for heaven or hell!
Why do men and women who are greatly suffering on earth seek to prolong their days of agony? Why do victims of cancer, who are being slowly eaten alive for months and years, prefer enduring such pain rather than going to a land of bliss? Why will the afflicted travel all over the world and be cut to pieces by inches that they may stay a few weeks longer in agony and torture? The one answer that is made to this query is that the afflicted struggle to live because it is their duty to hang fast to mortal life, no matter what the pain or the expected joy in heaven.
So, the question may persist in your mind: does the soul exist? Every dead body, no matter whether consumed by fire or buried in the earth, has been resolved into its elements, so that the matter and energy that once formed human beings will feed animals and plants and other men. Buried bodies decompose, they are eaten by worms, producing high quality compost soil and fertilizing liquid. then some fertiliser taken by then apple tree produce apple, leaves then some apple eaten by human, Birds eat these worms and the leaves, then humans eat birds’ eggs, and so on. We can see that in life each of us is in turn a guest and a dish. Thus the body of every man now living is in part made from the bodies of those who have been dead for ages. If you look at an apple, you will notice that some of its elements have parts of worms, part of dead body etc. In other words, if you group energies or atoms, you can form an apple or any body, so we are part of the universe. We all are related to each other, so why can’t we live together happily? Forget about the existence of soul and then you can also forget about religion, as there is no evidence for life after death. We love everything in this world and we are proud because we are part of the universe.
